Team Leader - Registration and Licensing
DMCC is looking to hire a Team Leader - Registration and Licensing who will be responsible for the supervision of the Registration and Licensing team to ensure the efficient processing of company registrations and licensing (including new, renewal and amendments). The incumbent will continuously evaluate improvement areas and take a proactive approach to adopting better practices that improve efficiency and build better governance in relation to registration and licensing processes.
The primary areas of responsibility include the following:

•Supervises the team responsible for registration and licensing ensuring that registration and licensing in DMCC and JLT is processed promptly and efficiently and that clients' records are updated at all times according to objectives set by the Manager - Registration and Licensing.
•Supervises and coaches new joiners on the usage of the system and all registration and licensing procedures.
•Organizes and confirms the legal requirements of the new companies undergoing registration and licensing are met. Coordinates with other relevant parties to ensure availability of all requirements.
•Organizes and ensures the validity of license requirements and listed activities submitted by the newly registered companies.
•Supervises and maintains accurate registration and license databases.
•Supervises all services related to existing clients such as attestation of Board Resolution and issuance of letters on behalf of the company.
•Reviews post-licensing requirements, ensuring the right follow-up framework is in place to govern the concurrence with DMCC’s rules and regulations.
•Supervises the preparation of internal and external reporting pertaining to new and renewed licenses.
•Ensures the digital notifications meet the requirements of the processes under supervision and relevant parties are included.
•Manages team time to ensure appropriate follow up is implemented to maximize on-time renewal by members and submission of all requirements (including but not limited to property confirmation, audited financials).
•Carries out quality review checks to ensure that the team is meeting expectations with regard to quality, time and communication.
•Collects feedback from the team and ensures that continuous improvement and streamlining opportunities are identified and implemented, coordinating with relevant support teams as needed

To be considered for the role you need to have:
•Degree/Diploma in a related field
•5-7 years’ experience in registration and licensing with strong understanding of local rules and regulations
•2 years in a supervisory position
•Knowledge of different licensing and registration statutory regulations and applications procedures

You should also demonstrate the following skills and traits:
•Excellent Computer Skills (Including, but not limited to: Windows, Office, Internet)
•Communication Skills (Listening, Verbal, Written)
•Languages Skills: Excellent English language. Additional language (Arabic/German/Other)
•Digital Competence Adaptable
•Detail Oriented
